Dead pdf is scanned by OCR but gives no result

Hello

I have a dead pdf I tried to scan.

At first, it refused as there was some text which was readable text but I took that out.

Eventually, the scanner worked but the result was a blank page.

I assumed the original was too faint but the OCR works with other dead pdfs of poorer quality

So going back to the first pdf, the only other thing I’ve noticed is that when I try to scan it, at the end either

1 it becomes very small on the screen -just a little page in the middle of the screen

or

2 sometimes it remains the right size on the screen (but blank) but then Infix has automatically increased magnifying to 800%

So you have all the info on this dead pdf. Any ideas please why I can’t scan it sucessfully?
