Error code and missing translations

Hi Infix users,

First, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

I have recently found out about this app, so I decided to give the trial a go. I used a sample PDF from a previous job and used the translate menu to convert it to XLF. I imported it into Trados, translated a few sentences here and there and imported the file back into Infix to see if it worked.

I get an error code when I do this that reads:

Problem reading file - not well formed (invalid token): line 1, column 864.

Do you want to view the (read-only) PDF Preview?

When I click on Yes, I was able to see the target file, but it was missing almost of all of the translated segments.

I am running Windows 10, latest version. Core i5, 8GB RAM, laptop with sufficient hard drive space.

I would appreciate any help, thank you.

It is probably that the XLIFF file that you are trying to upload is not well formed and is missing an open or close tag
