Finnish text from PDF partially not imported

Hi,

I have a problem with the XLIFF-file exported via Infix PDF Editor and TransPDF. Some characters are imported as empty spaces in .xlf file. When imported as plain text to memoQ, everything is OK.

Example in xlf:

Tutustu käsikirjan ohjeisiin ennen jätepakkaajan käy öönottoa. Varmista, e ä NTM-laite a käy ävät henkilöt:

What could cause this and what can I do?

Hello.
Can you tell the ID number of the PDF in the transPDF system? You can do this by pressing the ‘Get Help’ button next to the document. We can then investigate further.
If you can’t get this, can you email the PDF to us as support@iceni.com?

you could have a try close all procedure and start XLIFF-file again
