Master security settting

Hello

I’ve set a master security setting to allow some things but not others

The problem is that every time I open the document, I have to retype it in to let me do the things I want.

Is this normal? I want to be able to copy parts of the pdf file every time but not be able to edit it?

Hello. Yes this is normal.
Another approach may be to use the work-mode buttons at the bottom left of the Infix window. It defaults to edit mode but you can choose view comment modes too which may afford you the protection you need from accidental edits.
